Suns Solidify Victory with Five Run Eighth Inning

Hagerstown, MD - The Hagerstown Suns (59-40) managed a series split with the Augusta GreenJackets (48-50) after winning the finale 10-4 at Municipal Stadium on Sunday.

Cutter Dykstra went 2-for-4 with the game winning two-run double in the seventh inning to put the Suns on top for good. Right fielder J.R. Higley was a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles and two RBIs. Reliever L.J. Hollins (1-0) earned the win out of the bullpen after Taylor Hill went six innings in the start.

GreenJackets' reliever Demondre Arnold (4-2) suffered the loss, allowing two runs in one inning on the mound. Devin Harris hit a two-run homer to lead the Augusta attack.

The Suns will now begin a four-game series with the Lakewood BlueClaws (Phillies) on Monday night at 7:05 p.m. when RHP Blake Schwartz makes his Suns debut against Lakewood's RHP Hoby Milner (1-2, 5.00).
