JACKSONVILLE, FL - Your Jacksonville Suns return to the Baseball Grounds to open the second half on Thursday, June 21st and will be home through Monday, June 25th, with five games against the Tennessee Smokies (CHC)!
The homestand begins on Thursday with the biggest party in town with Thursday Night Throwdown plus It's Shriners Night & Military Appreciation Night! Enjoy Buds for a Buck and 2 for 1 Cocktails at the hottest spot in Jacksonville, sponsored by Budweiser, Jim Beam, Absolut, Jagermeister, Buzz Magazine and 99.9 Gator Country! Plus all college students get in for just $5 with a College Student ID! Be sure to come out early for the Shriner's Parade and special performance from the Shriner's Clowns! Join McDonald's and the Suns in celebrating the military as veterans and active duty military can receive up to four half-price tickets with valid ID! Don't miss the official Suns Post-Game Victory Party at Maverick's at the Landing!
Friday night kicks off 90's weekend at the Baseball Grounds! Come out to see Mr. Belding from Saved by the Bell plus it's Throwback Night, Ed Randall's Bat for the Cure and Post-Game Friday Family Fireworks! It's the beginning of 90's weekend and the Suns are celebrating by bringing back Wolfson Park Pricing with HomePlate Box Tickets for just $5! Plus the Suns will wear their Pin-Striped Throwback Uniforms and the Smokies will be wearing their Grey Throwback Uniforms! The most famous principal of all time Mr. Belding, from Saved by the Bell, will be on hand all night long and available for autographs, courtesy of 99.1 WQIK and 107.3 Jack-FM! Ed Randall's Bat for the Cure team will also be at the ballpark promoting prostate cancer awareness, sponsored by UF & Shands and Walgreen's! The Blood Alliance Bloodmobile will be at the Baseball Grounds and the Suns encourage all fans to donate blood! The first 25 donors receive 2 tickets to the game, a hot dog and soda voucher and a special Suns gift! 90's Weekend continues on Saturday at 6:05 with Alex Rodriguez Bobblehead Giveaway Night and a Post Game Concert from "The Dave Matthews Tribute Band" plus Steak Me Out To the Ballgame! Be sure to show up early as the first 3,000 fans will get a bobblehead of Suns legend Alex Rodriguez, member of the 1994 Jacksonville Suns, courtesy of Florida Blue and Fox 30! Also before the Suns game will be an Old-Timers game featuring former Major Leaguers Desi Relaford, Ryan Freel and Kris Keller, with gates opening at 4:00! The Suns will be wearing special Buffett-style jerseys that they will wear again and be auctioned off to benefit Wolfson's Children Hospital on Saturday, July 21st! The Blood Alliance Bloodmobile will be at the Baseball Grounds and the Suns encourage all fans to donate blood! The first 25 donors receive 2 tickets to the game, a hot dog and soda voucher and a special Suns gift! Saturday means Steak Me Out to the Ballgame! Get a tender 8 oz. bacon-wrapped filet mignon, baked potato, salad, non-alcoholic beverage and general admission to the game for only $25! Tickets are $7.50 for general admission, $10.50 for reserved seating and $13.50 for Homeplate Box seating. Limited sponsorships, season tickets and group packages are still available.
