Five BayBears Named to South's All-Star Starting Lineup

Third Baseman Matt Davidson, First Baseman Marc Krauss, Right Fielder Alfredo Marte, Second Baseman David Nick and LHP Tyler Skaggs of the Mobile BayBears were named Friday to the tentative starting lineup for the Southern League South Division All-Star team. The selection was announced by the Southern League of Professional Baseball and made by South Division and BayBears manager Turner Ward.
The game takes place on Tuesday, June 19th, and will feature four BayBear position players in the starting lineup with Skaggs making the start for the South Division All-Star team. Davidson will bat third and play third base. Krauss will bat fourth and play first base. Marte will bat fifth and play right field, while Nick will bat second and play second base.
The five BayBear starters will be joining teammates Chase Anderson, Matt Gorgen and Evan Marshall on the South Division roster at Smokies Park.
