Hagerstown Suns News Release
Today's game between the Hagerstown Suns and Lakewood BlueClaws for Sunday, June 25th, has been postponed due to the weather and will be made up as part of a double-header on Saturday, July 1st, at Municipal Stadium beginning at 6:05pm.
Both games will be 7-innings with a 25-minute intermission between them. Any person with a ticket for today's June 25th game can redeem their ticket for any future 2006 Hagerstown Suns home game with the exception of the three Feed-Your-Face Mondays (July 24, July 31 and August 28).
The Suns "Shoeless Joe Jackson" world-record attempt promotion as well as the "Renew Your Wedding Vows" promotion originally scheduled for today will both be rescheduled.
Today's game marks the Suns 5th rainout of the season after just one in 2005. For more information, contact the Suns front offices at 301.791.6266. The Suns will hit the road for Delmarva on Monday and will return home for a five-game series beginning on Wednesday, June 28.
