Justin Nicolino (W, 10-3) earned his 10th win of the year on Sunday, only giving up five hits and a walk over five shutout innings. Nicolino has not allowed a run in his last 18.0 innings dating back to July 24th's outing against Birmingham.

Blake Logan (H, 2) tossed three excellent innings of scoreless relief, holding the Stars off the board on just one hit while striking out three Stars.

Collin Cargill allowed the game's only run (it was unearned) on one hit while striking out one batter in his one inning.

Jed Bradley (L, 4-6) took the loss for Huntsville by surrendering seven runs (all earned) on eight hits while walking a pair and striking out five in 4.1 innings on Sunday.

The Suns wasted no time scoring on Sunday, grabbing a 2-0 lead two batters into the game. After Austin Nola began the ballgame with a single, Austin Barnes (HR, 6) drilled a two-run home run to left to give Jacksonville a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning.

Jacksonville added to their advantage with a run in the top of the fourth. A wild with Wilfredo Gimenez at the plate allowed Joe Benson to come down and score, pushing the Suns' lead to 3-0 in the top of the fourth inning.

The Suns broke it open by scoring four times in the top of the fifth. A J.T. Realmuto RBI single and a bases-clearing double from Isaac Galloway helped extend the Suns' lead to 7-0 in the top of the fifth inning.

Huntsville busted up the shutout with two outs in the bottom of the ninth as Shea Vucinich's RBI double cut it to a 7-1 Suns lead.

With a win, the Suns have won each of the first four games of the series and will look to complete their first five-game sweep of the season.

The Suns and Stars will be back at it on Monday, with first pitch of the series finale set for 1:00 p.m. CT (2:00 p.m. ET). The Suns will start right-hander Dustin Moseley (1-1, 3.46) while the Stars will counter with left-hander Brent Suter (9-8, 4.34).
