GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Suns relinquished two leads and never trailed until the final at bat, suffering their third consecutive defeat to the Greenville Braves, 4-3, in front of 1,145 fans Wednesday at Municipal Stadium.

Nelson Castro had a two-run double in the sixth inning to give the Suns a 3-1 lead. He saved the game in the bottom of the ninth. Castro dove and stopped a bouncing ball from going into center field. From the ground, he flipped to second base and Willy Aybar's relay throw nearly was in time. However, the winning run scored from third, giving the Braves the victory.

Wilkin Ruan was thrown out on the back-end of a double play, ending a first-and-second, one-out rally in the ninth inning for the Suns on Wednesday at Greenville. The close play took the wind out of the Suns' sails.

Suns starter Glenn Bott pitched six innings, walked one, allowed one run and struck out six.
