East Lake, Ohio: The Hagerstown Suns dropped their 4th in a row on Thursday night in a rain-shortened game to the Captains 5-3.
After a rain out on Wednesday night, the Suns fell to Lake County after the game was called due to rain in the bottom of the 5th. The Captains (9-10) scored 5 unanswered off of Suns' starter Yunior Novoa. A pair of doubles in the 2nd led to one, to make the contest 2-1 and 4 runs on 5 hits in the 4th made it 5-2. Hagerstown added one more in the 5th, however the rains came and the Suns endured their 4th loss in a row.
The Suns went 1-4 during their rain-shortened 5-game road trip and now will look for some home cooking at Municipal Stadium. The Suns will take on the Delmarva Shorebirds tomorrow at 6:35pm to start a three game series and a seven game home stand.
