GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Suns' bullpen allowed five runs over the final two innings negating a two-run lead in a 7-4 loss to the Greenville Braves in front of 1,757 fans Sunday at Municipal Stadium.

Tied 2-2 entering the seventh inning, Derek Michaelis hit a leadoff, pinch-hit home run to give the Suns a one-run lead. Reggie Abercrombie singled in Tarrik Brock to pad Jacksonville's advantage to 4-2.

Relieving Suns starter Brian Pilkington in the bottom of the seventh, Lino Urdaneta gave up three singles and two walks in succession, including a two-run, pinch-hit single by Pete Orr. Orr, a .230 hitter, returned from his sister's wedding in Ontario hours before game time.

Pilkington, promoted to the Suns from Class A Advanced Vero Beach on Sunday, pitched six innings, allowing two runs and five hits in his Suns debut. He earned a no-decision.

Tied 4-4 in the eighth, Suns reliever Orlando Rodriguez allowed a one-out walk to Cory Aldridge before being removed in favor of Greg Bauer. Rodriguez (0-2) earned the loss when Aldridge scored on Kelly Johnson's two-run double hit off Bauer. It was Johnson's first game back from the disabled list. Bauer allowed two runs credited to him, which padded the lead for the Braves (55-60 overall, 19-28 second half).

Braves reliever Willie Collazo (5-1) won in relief. Closer Billy Sylvester struck out all three Suns he faced to record his 13th save.

Abercrombie had three hits to lead the Suns (55-63, 24-25). The Suns stranded nine runners, including the bases loaded in the second inning. Victor Rodriguez grounded into an inning-ending double play with the bases loaded in the fifth inning.

Right-hander Edwin Jackson (6-6, 3.41 ERA) is scheduled to face Braves righty Adam Wainwright (7-7, 3.62) at 7:15 p.m. Monday at Municipal Stadium.
