Orlando Rays News Release

Zebulon, NC -- Sunday's Southern League game between the Orlando Rays and Carolina Mudcats has been postponed due to rain and wet field conditions at Carolina's Five County Stadium.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Monday. Both contests will be seven innings, with the first game scheduled to start at 5:05 p.m.

In game one Orlando righty Jim Magrane (8-6, 3.59) will oppose Carolina right-hander Denny Bautista (4-2, 3.55). The nightcap will pit Rays right-hander Bartolome Fortunato (4-2, 2.57) against Mudcats lefty Todd Moser (4-3, 3.22).

The Rays close out a 12-game road trip Monday, and return to Orlando Tuesday for an eight game home stand. On Tuesday the Rays take on the Tennessee Smokies at 7:05 at Cracker Jack Stadium.
