Hagerstown, MD - The Hagerstown Suns (79-51/37-24) were leading the Delmarva Shorebirds (50-80/22-39), 1-0, when heavy downpours forced the umpires to suspend the game at Municipal Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The game will not be reflected on either team's record.

The Suns will enjoy a scheduled off-day Monday before beginning a three-game series with the Greensboro Grasshoppers in North Carolina on Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m. Hagerstown is scheduled to throw RHP Wirkin Estevez (5-1, 5.79) in game one against the Grasshoppers' RHP Josh Hodges (8-8, 3.60).

Suns individual game tickets, season tickets, mini-plans, and group packages are on sale now. For more information and to reserve your seat at Municipal Stadium, call 301-791-6266, or www.hagerstownsuns.com. The Hagerstown Suns are owned by Hagerstown Baseball, LLC.
