
Suns and Shorebirds Suspended Due to Rain

Hagerstown, MD - The Hagerstown Suns (79-51/37-24) were leading the Delmarva Shorebirds (50-80/22-39), 1-0, when heavy downpours forced the umpires to suspend the game at Municipal Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The game will not be reflected on either team's record.
The Suns will enjoy a scheduled off-day Monday before beginning a three-game series with the Greensboro Grasshoppers in North Carolina on Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m. Hagerstown is scheduled to throw RHP Wirkin Estevez (5-1, 5.79) in game one against the Grasshoppers' RHP Josh Hodges (8-8, 3.60).
