Suns and Power Postponed

HAGERSTOWN, MD - The game between the Hagerstown Suns and the West Virginia Power scheduled for Friday night has been postponed due to persistant inclement weather throughout the afternoon.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Sunday afternoon, with gates opening at noon for a new, 1:05 p.m. start time. The second game of the doubleheader will start approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.

Tomorrow's game is still scheduled to start at 7:05 p.m., with gates opening at Municipal Stadium at 6:05 p.m. The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a Mike Mussina Hall of Fame bronze statuette, courtesy of Extra Innings. The U.S. Attorney's Office will host Community Safety Awareness Night at the ballpark, with fireworks following the game, co-sponsored by Mix 95.1. Also, the Suns will begin their autographed ball drawing in support of the Nick Adenhart Memorial Fund at Saturday's game, with balls autographed by various Major League players as well as current and former Suns up for the taking.

The Hagerstown Suns play at Municipal Stadium in Hagerstown, MD and are a Class "A" affiliate of the Washington Nationals.
