Arizona Sundogs News Release

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - Arizona Sundogs Head Coach and General Manager Marco Pietroniro announced today several roster moves prior to tonight's game against the Laredo Bucks, including the addition of forward Morgan MacLean.

Additionally, the team has moved defenseman Clayton Barthel to season-ending I.R., placed forward Samuel Grenache on 10-day I.R. and has moved defenseman Jim Driscoll from 10-day to 30-day I.R.

MacLean, 22, skated in 16 games with the Odessa Jackalopes this season, tallying three assists and 10 penalty minutes (PIM) prior to being released.

A native of Grand Prairie, Alberta, MacLean appeared in 62 games with the now-defunct Corpus Christi IceRays last season, registering 22 points (8g/14a), 44 PIM and a plus-7 rating.

The 6-foot, 190-pound forward is expected in the lineup tonight as the Sundogs open a three-game set against the Laredo Bucks at 7:05pm at Tim's Toyota Center.

Barthel appeared in just eight games with Arizona this season, picking up one assist and two PIM before suffering an injury in a 4-0 loss against the Texas Brahmas on November 6.

Grenache has collected one assist and 67 PIM in 23 contests with the Sundogs this season.

Driscoll, initially placed on 10-day I.R. on January 1, has recorded nine points (2g/7a), six PIM and a team-high plus-3 rating in 23 games this year.
