November 10, 2005 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Calgary Roughnecks News Release
Calgary, AB (Thursday, November 10, 2005) - Calgary Roughnecks General Manager Kurt Silcott announced today that he has traded face-off man Jordan Sundher to the Edmonton Rush for a conditional pick in the 2006 entry draft.
Sundher, 27, played for the Roughnecks in 2002 and joined them again at the end of last season playing in 4 games. In 15 regular season games with the Roughnecks, Sundher took 446 face-offs and won 233 of them for a .522 percentage.
"Jordan is a solid NLL player but the situation for him in Calgary was just not what he was looking for in his NLL career," said Silcott. "To his credit, Jordan wants to be an every day player in the NLL. We wish him all the best in Edmonton."
The Roughnecks open the new season on Jan. 13 vs. Edmonton Rush at the Pengrowth Saddledome. Season tickets are now on sale. Please call the Roughnecks office at 403-294-9244 or visit the Roughnecks web-page for further information at www.calgaryroughnecks.com
