
Jax training camp begins this weekend

LumberJax training camp opens this weekend bringing together team hopefuls and signed players for the first time. Approximately 28 players will try and make the final cut to a 23-man Jax roster.
The players will be evaluated by the coaches to see if they have what it takes to be on the National Lacrosse League's newest expansion team. This Saturday is the first of several weekend camps that help narrow the team down to regulation size by the league's deadline, December 19.
The regular season will get under way at home in the Rose Garden on Saturday, January 21 at 7:30p against the Colorado Mammoth, The team's first-ever game will take place on the road in Arizona on Friday, January 13 at 6:30p.
Tickets to the LumberJax for each of the nine home games range from $10.00-$25.00, with additional VIP seating available. Deposits are now being accepted for season tickets starting at $90.00, by calling 503.797.9739 or go to www.PortlandJax.com. Season tickets will also be sold at the open tryouts on Saturday.
