
Swarm Re-Signs Kelly Hall and Nick Patterson

SAINT PAUL/MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Minnesota Swarm general manager Marty O'Neill announced today that the National Lacrosse League (NLL) team has re-signed forward Kelly Hall and goaltender Nick Patterson to 2006 contracts.
Hall, 25 (1/14/80), notched 48 points (27-21=48), 34 penalty minutes and 47 loose balls in 13 games with the Swarm last season. The 5-foot-9, 185-pound forward led the team in scoring and goals and ranked first in the NLL with 19 power play markers. He has accumulated 58 points (28-30=58), 45 penalty minutes and 55 loose balls in two NLL seasons with San Jose and Minnesota. Hall was acquired in a trade with the San Jose Stealth on January 7, 2005.
Patterson, 22 (12/8/82), appeared in four games with the Swarm last season and posted a record of 1-0 with a 15.47 goals against average (GAA) and a .729 save percentage. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound netminder missed six games after suffering a knee injury at Philadelphia on March 5. He returned to action for the last game of the season and was named NLL Defensive Player of the Week as he stopped 45 of 57 shots faced and recorded an assist in Minnesota's 14-12 victory over the Philadelphia Wings at Xcel Energy Center. The Vancouver, British Columbia-native was acquired in the Vancouver Dispersal Draft.
