San Jose Giants News Release
SAN JOSE, CA - Sunday's scheduled doubleheader between the San Jose Giants and Lancaster JetHawks at Municipal Stadium has been postponed due to rain.
The teams were only able to complete one game of the season-opening four-game series due to wet weather throughout the weekend. The Giants posted a 4-3 victory over the JetHawks in the season opener on Thursday before Friday's game was suspended in the top of the fifth inning with Lancaster leading by a 4-1 score. Make-up dates for the suspended game and postponed contests have yet to be determined.
The Giants are scheduled to return to action on Monday evening with the opener of a three-game series against the Visalia Rawhide. First pitch at Municipal Stadium is scheduled for 6:30 PM.
