
Sun waives two

The Connecticut Sun waived Katie Macfarlane and Coutrney Mix today. Macfarlane was a 6-foot-0 forward from Army who earned an invitation to training camp after a two-day free agent camp at Connecticut College. The 5-10 Mix was a former standout at Villanova. The Sun has until 5 p.m. on May 19th to make its final roster cuts. The team can have a maximum of 11 active players, with two spots for injured players.
