Melvin joins Mystics camp

Washington, D.C. – The Washington Mystics today waived forward Tamara Bowie to make room for Center Chasity Melvin. Melvin returned yesterday from Poland after leading her team to the Polish League Title.

The Mystics currently have 15 players on its roster. The team must trim the roster to 13 players (11 active, two on injured reserve) by May 19th. The Mystics training camp roster is as follows:

The Washington Mystics will travel to Charlotte, NC for its final preseason game against the Charlotte Sting on Friday May 14th at 7:00 p.m. The teams will meet again when the Mystics kick off the 2004 season at MCI Center on Saturday, May 22 at 6:00 p.m.
