
Sun Waive Foley, Gahan And Quaye

UNCASVILLE, Conn. - The Connecticut Sun announced Wednesday that Jessica Foley, Tracy Gahan and Christina Quaye have been waived.
Gahan and Foley are 6-foot-0 guards who starred for the Adelaide Lightning during the 2007-08 WNBL season, helping the team win the league title. Gahan finished with 14 rebounds and eight points in two preseason games for the Sun while Foley scored seven points, all in the second preseason game against Phoenix on May 4th.
The 6-2 Quaye was signed to a free agent contract on April 17th. The forward scored eight points in 23 minutes of action in two preseason games for Connecticut.
The Sun currently have 12 players on their roster.
Connecticut, 1-1 in the preseason, plays its final exhibition game against the Houston Comets on May 9th. The Sun open the regular season May 17th, hosting the Atlanta Dream at Mohegan Sun Arena.
