Event details:
The Connecticut Sun has partnered up with the CUREcheif Foundation. The CUREcheif Foundation is a (non profit 501C3) organization that is dedicated to bringing warm and fuzzy feelings to cancer patients, survivors, their families and their friends. Sun players Candace Futrell and Wendy Palmer along with Blaze the Sun mascot will be delivering CUREcheifs to cancer patients at William Backus Hospital.


Tuesday, August 17th
3:00 pm ESPN Employee Kids Clinic

Event details:
The Connecticut Sun team will be making a visit to ESPN's Bristol University. At ESPN the Sun will be conducting a basketball clinic for kids of ESPN employees.

Thursday, August 19th
10:00 am Read To Achieve
Hartford Public Library
Hartford, CT
Brooke Wyckoff & Debbie Black

Event details:
In conjunction with the Read to Achieve program Sun players Debbie Black and Brooke Wyckoff will be reading children stories at the Hartford Public Library. In addition to the readings the Connecticut Sun will be donating 200 books to SAND Elementary School in Hartford, CT.

5:30 pm Channel 3 Kids Camp
Award Ceremony
Nykesha Sales & Jessica Brungo

Event details:
As an alumni of the Channel 3 Kids Camp, WNBA All-Star Nykesha Sales and teammate Jessica Brungo will shed a little sun on the on the camps' award ceremony. Sales and Brungo will assist with disturbing camp awards as well as taking photos and signing autographs with the campers.

Event details:
WNBA All-Star Lindsay Whalen and teammate Asjha Jones will be at Pilot Pen Tennis signing autographs and taking pictures.

Tuesday, August 24th
3 – 5:30pm Buick Golf Championship
Cromwell, CT
Long Drive Competition, Photos & Autographs
Nykesha Sales, Taj McWilliams-Franklin, Lindsay Whalen & Debbie Black

Event details:
WNBA All-Stars Nykesha Sales, Taj McWilliams-Franklin, Lindsay Whalen along with teammate Debbie Black with compete in the Buick Championship long drive competition. In addition these Sun players will be on hand to take photos and sign autographs.
