Summer of Nola Continues in Buffalo

RHP Aaron Nola takes the mound on Wednesday night as the Lehigh Valley IronPigs look to make it two in a row over the Buffalo Bisons. First pitch from Coca-Cola Field is slated for 7:05 p.m.

Nola (1-0, 0.00) will make his second career Triple-A start for the IronPigs. On Thursday vs. the Bisons, Nola scattered four hits, walked one and fanned seven over five shutout innings as he got the win in his Triple-A debut. The Baton Rouge, La. native is a combined 8-3 with a 1.76 ERA in 13 GS between Reading (AA) and Lehigh Valley this season.

LHP Daniel Norris (1-6, 3.44) gets the ball for the Bisons on Wednesday night. The southpaw took the loss against the Pigs on Thursday when he allowed two runs on six hits to go along with a pair of walks and seven strikeouts in 5.1 IP. Norris is 0-4 with a 3.58 ERA over his last 5 GS.

After going 1-4 with a solo home run on Tuesday night, Pigs INF/OF Russ Canzler has now hit safely in 11 of his last 14 games. In that time, Canzler is hitting .316 (18-57)-3-10 with five doubles, eight runs scored and three walks.
