PAWTUCKET, RI - The Pawtucket Red Sox scored twice in the bottom of the seventh inning to beat the Rochester Red Wings 5-3 Tuesday night at McCoy Stadium.

The Red Wings (36-34) did not have a hit until the seventh inning and trailed 3-1 before tallying three hits and plating two to tie the game at three against PawSox (35-37) starter Keith Couch. Dalier Hinojosa (3-0) would get the final out of the frame.

Rochester starter Greg Peavey (0-1) got Sean Coyle to fly out for the first out of the seventh but Jackie Bradley, Jr. singled for his third hit of the night. Ryan O'Rourke then walked Quintin Berry prompting another pitching change. Lester Oliveros then walked rehabbing Ryan Hanigan on four pitches to load the bases. Carlos Peguero then followed with a two-run bloop single to give the PawSox a 5-3 lead.

Peavey was charged with four runs on nine hits with five strikeouts over 6.1 innings in his Rochester debut. Dayan Diaz saved his second game for Pawtucket.

Reynaldo Rodriguez was involved in all three Red Wings runs, driving in two and scoring another. His first RBI of the game was a sacrifice fly in the second inning that gave Rochester a 1-0 lead with an unearned run.

The game featured an hour and 24 minutes worth of weather delays thanks to storms in the area. First pitch was delayed by 15 minutes and another delay of 1 hour, 9 minutes took place with two outs in the bottom of the seventh.
