
Strike Force Add Second-Year Lineman to 2025 Roster

San Diego Strike Force News Release
The San Diego Strike Force has signed offensive lineman Josh Castro to their 2025 Indoor Football League roster.
Castro (6- 3, 310, Nevada) will enter his second IFL season with the Strike Force after spending time in 2024 with the Bay Area Panthers.
Josh completed his collegiate career with the Nevada Wolfpack in 2023 after transferring from Cal Lutheran where he spent his redshirt senior season and was named to the All-Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Second Team. He appeared in 10 games for the Kingsmen and helped anchor an offense that averaged 347.1 yards per game, including 120.5 on the ground.
He spent his freshman and sophomore seasons at Santa Monica College before moving to NAIA Azusa Pacific in 2020, however, his season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and APU cut the program in 2021. He went on to spend his 2021 season at Angelo State.
Josh is originally from Los Angeles, California where he attended West Adams High School.
