STORMIN' ACCESS WITH AHMAD RASHAD This past Saturday, NBA Access with Ahmad Rashad took us on a behind the scenes look at the WNBA's Seattle Storm and its newly-assembled all-star lineup. The show took a ride to practice with 3-time WNBA MVP Sheryl Swoopes as she talked about making a change in her career. Cameras also caught up with 1999 MVP Yolanda Griffith, who gave viewers an all-access look at Storm practice. Two-time WNBA champion Swin Cash left the Detroit Shock for the Storm, and she visited a scenic overlook in Seattle to talk about her career transition. The inside-out tandem of point guard Sue Bird and two-time MVP Lauren Jackson chatted about how they've accepted all the new players into the fold. The show combined newly-shot all-access footage with a trip back through the NBA Entertainment archives for a rare look at this group of star players looking to make a run at the WNBA title.
SWARMING SEATTLE DEFENSE At just over the midway point of the season, Coach Brian Ager's aggressive defensive style is starting to show. The Storm have the league-wide lead in opponent points allowed and opponent field goal percentage, while forcing over one more turnover per game than committed.
