Opening Night Recap

The Storm opened the season at home for the fifth consecutive season and the seventh time in nine years overall. Seattle now owns a 5-4 record in both home openers and season openers, including the Storm's 67-61 win over the Chicago Sky to tip off the season last Saturday in front of the largest Opening Night crowd (12,079) in franchise history. The Storm played the first home game in franchise history against the Comets on 6/1/00, falling 77-47, and opened the 2003 WNBA season in Houston with a 75-64 loss.
