
Storm to Host Military Appreciation Night on Veteran's Day

KEARNEY - Nebraska's Tri-City Storm of the United States Hockey League announced that on November 11th they will be hosting "Military Appreciation Night." All present and past military personnel, including their dependents, will receive a $10 ticket when they show their military ID card at the time of purchase.
The first 500 fans that enter the FirsTier Event Center will receive a free mini-United States flag. Adding to the festivities, World War II veterans from the "Hero Flight" group will be recognized during the second intermission. This group will be honored for their duties with a special presentation including video from their trip to Washington D.C. this past summer.
The United States Marines Corps will also be on hand to collect toys for their "Toys for Tots" program. All fans are encouraged to bring a toy to donate. The Marines Corps will also be at the FirsTier Event Center on November 26th and 29th to accept donations.
