This past weekend the Storm played three games in less than 48 hours, picking up one of a possible six points Friday night in an overtime loss to the Oshawa Generals. The Storm held John Tavares to one point on Friday night at the Sleeman Centre, but the Generals still managed a 2-1 win. Saturday night in Peterborough the Storm had a two goal lead heading into the third, but eventually lost in a heartbreaker as the Petes scored with under a minute remaining to beat the Storm 4-3 and steal the two points. Sunday afternoon the Kitchener Rangers visited the Sleeman Centre for a 2:00 pm start. In front of a home crowd of 4,445 the Storm jumped out to an early lead, but faltered losing the game 6-5.________________________________________

Guelph Storm Grand & Toy Player of the Week (Week ending October 21st)

Brandon Buck- Buck began the week with one assist on the Storm's lone goal in the 2-1 home loss to the Oshawa Generals on Friday night. On Saturday night in Peterborough, Buck recorded an assist on the first Storm goal of the game and scored the Storm's third of the night in the heartbreaking 4-3 loss at the Peterborough Memorial Centre. Sunday afternoon with the Kitchener Rangers in town the 19 year old scored two in the 6-5 loss, recording his first multiple goal game and sixth multiple point game of the season. The Delaware native is tied for second in points on the Storm with 14 and leads the team in goals with seven. Buck also leads the team in plus/minus with a +4 rating.________________________________________

Thursday, October 25th: Guelph Storm at London Knights, 7:00 pm

- The Storm travel to London on Thursday for the first of three visits to the John Labatt Centre this season. Thursdays visit marks the second time these two teams have faced each other this year. The first contest saw the Storm white wash the Knights 5-0 on home ice. Drew Doughty scored his first career OHL hattrick and Cody St. Jacques recorded his first ever shutout in the win. The next home game against the Knights is the first Saturday game of the season on November 24th. Game time s 7:30 pm. The London Knights are currently tied with the Storm for second place in the Midwest Division, six points behind first place Kitchener Rangers.

Friday, October 26th: Brampton Battalion at Gueph Storm, 7:30 pm

- The Brampton Battalion make their lone regular season visit to the Sleeman Centre on Friday night. The two teams play each other only one other time on Sunday March 2nd when the Storm travel to the Powerade Centre. The Brampton Battalion currently sit second in the Central Division with 15 points, three points behind the leading Niagara IceDogs.

Sunday, October 28th: Sudbury Wolves at Guelph Storm, 2:00pm

- The Sudbury Wolves make their first and only visit to the Sleeman Centre this Sunday. The two teams play each other only one other time on Saturday February 9th when the Storm travel to Sudbury for a 7:30 pm start. Last season the two teams split the regular season series with a win a piece. The Wolves won the first contest 3-1 and the Storm won the second 5-2.

Spykes Halloween Bash

- On Sunday afternoon the Storm will host Spykes annual Halloween Bash. The game will include great prizes for costumes and the on ice Halloween Parade. Costume categories include Most Original, Best Hockey Costume, Scariest Costume and others. Several cash prizes will be awarded, as well as sponsored prizes from local businesses. During the second intermission, young Storm fans in costume will be invited to join Spyke on the ice for the Halloween Parade.

- Family 4 Pack is back for another season. For all Sunday games, including this coming Sunday, the Guelph Storm have introduced the $50 Family 4 Pack - over $20 worth of savings. Bring the family to any Sunday afternoon game during the 2007/08 regular season and receive four Storm family day tickets (2 adult/2child), two large soft drinks and two large popcorn as well as two Gametime Magazines. Served by the Storm

Tickets for the 9th Annual "Served By The Storm" Dinner are on sale now! The popular event will be hosted by Casey's Bar & Grill (494 Edinburgh Road South) on Monday, November 26th. The "Served By The Storm" Dinner has sold out the last four years.

Fans attending the dinner can meet their Storm in a fun, unique setting with every member of the team working for the night as waiters. Every dollar raised from the event is donated to the Adopt A School program to provide tickets to local elementary schools.

Tickets can be purchased at the Guelph Storm table behind section 116 at every Storm home game and at the Guelph Storm office during regular business hours. Ticket prices for the "Served By The Storm" Dinner including meal, non-alcoholic refreshments, dessert and gratuity are $20 per ticket.
