The Sioux Falls Storm (8-1) are back at the Storm Shelter this Saturday night at 7:05pm as they welcome the Omaha Beef (4-4). Orthopedic Institute is the proud sponsor of this second meeting of three for these two teams.
The Storm are coming off a 43-38 nail-biting road win against the Sioux City Bandits. The victory gave Sioux Falls its 16th win in a row against the Bandits and a comfortable lead ahead of Wichita (5-3) in the Central West Division. Quarterback, Terrance Bryant, finished the game with 176 yards passing, completing 23 of 30 attempts and 4 touchdowns. James Terry had two of those touchdowns while Sean Treasure and Tommy Hofer accounted for the rest. The Thunder Defense held the Bandits to nine rushing yards on eight attempts.
The Beef come to town after a 71-33 blowout over the Arkansas Diamonds, one of the top teams in the Intense Conference. Omaha had a total of 264 yards of offense for the night, and were 2-2 on third down conversions. Beef quarterback, Ben Sankey was 27 for 32 passing for 242 total yards on the night with no interceptions. Omaha's defense held the Diamonds to 174 total yards of offense.
Storm fans are encouraged to bring any dog or cat food to Saturday's game, as the Second Chance Rescue Center will be in the lobby taking donations. Tickets are still available at the arena.
