The Wichita Wild will return to the scene of their only road loss of the season on Saturday as they head to Sioux City, IA to take on the Bandits. Both the Wild and Bandits are in the thick of the playoff hunt. Wichita sits in 2nd place in the Central Division with a 6-3 record while Sioux City is 4th with a 4-4 record. Kickoff is set for 7:05 PM from the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City. The game can be heard LIVE on 1330-AM KNSS.

During the week, Wichita made some roster moves that should have an immediate impact. First, offensive lineman Kevin McAlmont re-joined the Wild. The Union City, GA native is a veteran of five season of professional football including stops in the NFL, NFL Europe, and Arena Football League.

The Wild also signed kicker Nathan Stokes to help reinvigorate the special team's aspect of the game. Stokes finished his college career at Missouri State in 2007. He went 49-of-52 on extra points and 8-of-10 of field goals for the Bears as a senior. Stokes was named to the All-Conference team as both kicker and punter. The Ozark, MO played three games for the Springfield Wolfpack indoor team before leaving to join the Wild. Stokes was 22-of-25 on extra points for the Wolfpack.

Wichita brings a very balanced attack into Sioux City as they are #8 rated scoring offense in the IFL (45.3 ppg) and the #10 rated scoring defense (37.5 ppg). Sioux City has scored 40.8 points per game which ranks 12th in the IFL and are allowing 44.3 points per game which is 17th in the league.

Bandits QB Scott Jensen has been on fire over the last two weeks. Jensen has thrown for 362 yards and eight touchdowns in the last two ball games. Jensen rushed for 40 yards in the Bandits 48-47 win over Wichita on May 1.
