Guelph Storm News Release
Closing out a three-in-three stretch this weekend, the Guelph Storm will host the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds on Sunday afternoon.
Heading into their third game in less than three nights, the Guelph Storm (12-43-4-2) will be looking to snap a seven-game losing skid on Sunday afternoon with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds (29-24-7-1) in town.
Going into the match-up, the Storm are coming off a 5-3 loss to the Hamilton Bulldogs on Saturday night, falling for the seventh consecutive game after rallying back from a three-goal deficit. The night prior, starting the weekend's three-in-three stretch in the Royal City, the Storm fell 6-2 to another Eastern Conference club in the Ottawa 67's.
Looking to Sunday's opponent, focus shifts back to the Western Conference as the seventh-standing Greyhounds will likely be poised to get back into the win column after dropping a 6-4 result to the London Knights on Friday night. The Greyhounds are 5-3-2-0 in the last 10 games played.
Puck drop on Sunday is scheduled for 2pm.
