
Storm Chasers Unveil 2017 Home Schedule

PAPILLION - As the Omaha Storm Chasers continue their final homestand of the 2016 campaign, the club has revealed their 2017 home schedule at Werner Park to help fans plan ahead for the upcoming season.
The Storm Chasers are scheduled to play at Werner Park on the following dates.
* April: 11-17, 27-30
* May: 1-5, 16-22, 27-30
* June: 5-11, 22-25, 30
* July: 1-3, 13-20, 29-31
* August: 1, 3-6, 11-18
* September: 1-4 The 2017 home slate at Werner Park currently features 17 Fireworks nights, which includes 12 Fridays, and the Independence Fireworks Spectacular on Monday, July 3. The schedule is also highlighted by ten Thirsty Thursday dates, and 12 Family FUNday Sundays, while the Storm Chasers will "play two" with a day/night, split doubleheader against the Tacoma Rainiers on Wednesday, May 17.
Promotions and giveaways for the 2017 season will be announced on a later date.
Included in the 2017 schedule as well are 26 home dates combined in the months of June and July, including 12 in June. The Storm Chasers played 22 contests at home during the same months in 2016.
The Storm Chasers are slated to face off against their American Northern Conference rivals on these dates:
* Colorado Springs Sky Sox: June 30-July 3, July 17-20
* Iowa Cubs: August 11-14, September 1-4

The Storm Chasers continue their final homestand of the 2016 regular season this evening at Werner Park, with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m. CT against the Round Rock Express.
