OMAHA, Neb. - YOUR Omaha Storm Chasers return to Beautiful Werner Park to welcome the Round Rock Express, Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers for the first time this season. The scheduled 45th game of the 45th season falls during the homestand, and the Chasers will honor this landmark achievement with a celebration featuring appearances by Buddy Biancalana and Kevin Seitzer. Each of the four games in the series has a headlining event with a giveaway, a salute to a former baseball tradition and the rescheduled Borsheims Diamond Dig!

YOUR Omaha Storm Chasers return to beautiful Werner Park and welcome the Round Rock Express, Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, the first time this season. The first 1,500 fans will receive "Eye Black" giveaway presented by the Principal Financial Group. It's also Thirsty Thursday as fans of age can enjoy $2 Bud Light and Budweiser cans along with 16 oz. Bud Light draws and anyone can $1 Pepsi products all night. Plus, it's Intern Appreciation Night so give those who have been doing "intern work" and earning valuable experience all summer long a special night out at Werner Park (for tickets call Casey Smith at 402-738-51 36). In the last 45 years the only constant relationship in Triple-A Baseball has been Omaha and Kansas City, as Royals top prospects appeared at Rosenblatt Stadium and now Werner Park in the longest running Triple-A affiliation in Minor League Baseball. To celebrate this achievement, the Omaha Storm Chasers welcome former Omaha and Kansas City Royals Buddy Biancalana and Kevin Seitzer, who will sign autographs during the game as a part of a FREE meet and greet. Messages of congratulations for this milestone achievement will be played on the video board from past and present players, Kansas City Royals front office members as well as former Omaha Royals front office members. The "45" theme will be prevalent throughout Werner Park including tickets, concessions and the Storm Front Team Store. Ticket specials will include $4.50 tickets to the AT&T Home Run Porch, concessions items will include a $4.50 Oma-Dog among others. Many items in the Team Store will be priced at either $45 or $4.50 and there will be much more in regard to the fan experience as it's Friday night FIREWORKS presented by American Family Insurance. Aflac presents Salute to the Flyover night with pre-game and in-game performances from the metro area's very own, Omaha Street Percussion. Flyovers may not happen at sporting events any longer, but to honor their existence, the Storm Chasers will wear special jerseys during Saturday's game and they will be signed and auctioned off after the game. Proceeds will go to the Aflac Children's Cancer Center. Plus, the first 500 fans will receive a FREE glider upon entrance into the ballpark. It's also the second of four Kimberly Clark/Carpenter Paper Huggies Diaper Derbies! It's the 4th annual Diamond Dig presented by Borsheims. The first 200 women to sign up at Borsheims' table will get the opportunity to dig for diamonds in the infield with a spoon after the game. Prizes include five pairs of crystal earrings and a .70ct Borsheims Signature Diamond valued at $2,275! Plus, with a $10 donation to Heartland Family Services, you can get a 10-second head start to digging success.
