Stockton, Calif. - Today, the Stockton Kings tipped off their inaugural Season of Doing Good. Modeling their program after the Sacramento Kings, their official NBA parent club, the Stockton Kings have worked with volunteers, nonprofits and community organizations to invest in the region and promote acts of #DoGood during the holiday season.

"We are thrilled to continue our support for the San Joaquin Valley community through our Season of Doing Good," said Stockton Kings Vice President of Business Operations Dustin Toms. "This marks the first of many seasons ahead as we look to spread holiday cheer and expand our reach."

For their first year, the entire Stockton Kings organization came together to adopt four local families, purchasing Christmas trees, ornaments and gifts. Today, the Stockton team delivered the holiday goodies and helped the families and young Kings fans decorate their trees. The players also took pictures and signed autographs.

The team ended the day at the Lord's Gym City Center holiday party, celebrating with Stockton youth. Players engaged with the Youth Leadership Council, sharing personal stories, discussing their contributions to the community and highlighting their hopes for Stockton.

Season of Doing Good event guests and audiences are pre-determined and selected with local nonprofit partners and community organizations. For more information visit StocktonKings.com.
