The Stockton Kings, the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings (8-2), fell to the Long Island Nets (5-4), 105-101 on Wednesday night at Adventist Health Arena (formerly Stockton Arena).
Stockton Kings center Skal Labissiere finished the night with 26 points and 11 rebounds, earning his second double-double of the regular season. Guard Jordan Ford capped the night with 22 points, three rebounds, three assists, and three steals.
The Stockton Kings trailed most of the first half, their biggest lead being two points versus Long Island's seven. Long Island's bench outscored the Kings 15-8 to help the Nets get the edge 50-43 at the end of the half. Kings guard Jordan Ford led the half with 14 points, with center Skal Labissiere following with 10 points of his own.
Kings forward Colby Jones sparked a third quarter run as the Kings shot 56.5% from the field, their highest of the night. The Kings fought back to take the lead, 83-80, in the fourth quarter before eventually falling to the Nets, 105-101.
