
Stingrays Weekly: Stingrays Celebrate Hall of Fame Night Against Road Warriors

South Carolina Stingrays News Release
The South Carolina Stingrays battled the Kalamazoo Wings, Toledo Walleye and Wheeling Nailers during a three-game in three-night road trip this week for a record of 2-1-0-0. The Stingrays opened the road trip on Thursday in Kalamazoo and toppled the Wings 5-1. Forwards Trent Campbel (2g, 1a) and Tommy Goebel (1g, 2a) netted three-point games. After a short bus trip over to Toledo, the Stingrays picked up a 3-1 win over the Walleye behind a 35 save performance from goaltender Shane Owen. The road trip ended in Wheeling, WV where then Nailers shutout the Stingrays 3-0. Netminder Peter Delmas stopped all 17 Stingrays shots.

Forward Jordan Pietrus is fourth among ECHL rookies with 158 shots.
Defenseman Josh Godfrey is first among ECHL defensemen with 15 goals, nine power play markers and 167 shots.
