Goalie Janus Reassigned from AHL

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Greg Poss announced today that goaltender Jaroslav Janus has been reassigned to the club by the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Janus (pronounced: YAHN-is) returns to the Everblades after making one appearance during his most recent call-up to the Admirals. The 21-year-old came on in relief in Saturday night's 6-5 shootout loss to Albany in Norfolk. Overall now in five call-ups to the Admirals this season Janus 0-2-1 with a 4.70 goals against average and an .847 save percentage.

With the Everblades this season Janus has seen action in 26 games, posting an 11-13-0 record with a 3.06 goals against average and a .911 save percentage.

The Everblades return to action today when they take on the Gwinnett Gladiators at 4:00 p.m. from The Arena at Gwinnett Center. The Everblades' next home game is Wednesday, March 23 when they host the Wheeling Nailers at 7:30 p.m. from Germain Arena.
