South Carolina Stingrays News Release
North Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays and Charlotte Checkers take the ice today at the North Charleston Coliseum at 4 p.m. This marks the 11th and final meeting between the two teams with the Checkers leading the series 7-3-0.
The Stingrays are currently 34-24-8 for 76 points and fifth place in the South Division. The team is 7-2-1 in their last ten games and is on a one-game winless streak after losing 6-5 against the Augusta Lynx in a shootout on Thursday night.
The Checkers, who have three games in hand, are 35-25-3 for 73 points and sixth place in the division. Charlotte is 17-13-3 on the road and 6-4-0 in their last ten games. The Checkers last game was also against Augusta; a 5-2 loss on Friday night.
