The South Carolina Stingrays announce the official theme for the Kelly Cup Playoffs 2009. The "White-Out" will begin April 14, 2009 as the Stingrays take on the Charlotte Checkers at the North Charleston Coliseum in game 3 of the first round, best of 7 game series.

Exclusive playoff t-shirts are on sale now through the front office and at every Playoff Home game for $15. Fans are encouraged to wear white to the games in support of the Rays. SECOND SEASON SUB-PLOTS

The Stingrays play game three against the Charlotte Checkers tonight at 7:05 at the North Charleston Coliseum.

Travis Morin, recalled for the Hershey Bears' regular season finale on Sunday, collected his first career AHL point, an assist, as the Bears fell to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton 5-4 at Giant Center.

THE REST ON THE QUEST

There were no games in the ECHL yesterday and only one game tonight.

Charlottes Mike Bayrack is tied for the league lead in playoff scoring with six points in just two games, two goals and four assists.

Ethan Graham of the Checkers is tied for the league lead in defensive scoring in the playoffs with two goals.

BLAST FROM THE PAST

Brett Marietti, the Stingrays all-time leader in games and penalty minutes, holds the team record with 69 playoff games played. The former forward, whose #24 hangs in the North Charleston Coliseum rafters, saw action in nine consecutive postseasons for South Carolina from 1995-2003.
