Salmon Kings ready to rock the playoffs

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today the Salmon Kings 2009 Kelly Cup Playoffs promotional campaign to "Rock the Playoffs!"

$50,000 Shoot-to-Win & Rapid Fire Contest Sponsored by 100.3 The Q and Taco Time:

During both Wednesday and Friday night's game a lucky ticket holder will be chosen at random, from entries filled out at the door and online during the pre-buy period, to take a shot at $50,000. Wednesday will feature a $50,000 Shoot-To-Win contest while Friday is the $50,000 Rapid Fire Contest. If neither contestant claims the $50,000 grand prize they will have a chance to take home the consolation prize of a Salmon Kings jersey, an autographed hockey stick, 4 tickets to attend a 2009-10 regular season Salmon Kings game in the 100.3 The Q Luxury Suite and a $50 gift certificate to Taco Time.

Baby T-Rex:

The Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre will be invaded by the Baby T-Rex from WALKING WITH DINOSAURS - The Arena Spectacular on Friday night. During the first intermission, Baby T-Rex will give everyone in attendance a sneak peek into life on earth 250 million years ago. The WALK WITH DINOSAURS - The Arena Spectacular will have eight performances at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre from May 6-10.

Rally Towels:

There will be 6,000 ROCK THE PLAYOFF branded rally towels given out to the first 3,000 fans through the doors on both Wednesday and Saturday nights. Bring your rally towel to every game to help support the Salmon Kings throughout the playoffs.

Dairy Queen White Out Promo:

On Friday night the first 3,000 fans wearing white will receive a Dilly Bar or coupon courtesy of Dairy Queen. The first 1,000 will receive the product at the game while the final 2,000 will receive coupons to redeem at local Dairy Queen locations.

The ROCK THE PLAYOFFS coupon:

Select Your Tickets and the Victoria Salmon Kings have teamed up with Coke to distribute 5,000 ‘Rock the Playoffs' coupons in the week leading up to the first Salmon Kings home game. The coupons are two-sided and contain two great offers: a discount on Salmon Kings round 1 tickets and a free medium fountain Coke beverage valid at Aramark concessions inside the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

Snow Dig:

Hosted by 100.3 The Q and The Zone @ 91.3, this event is open to the general public and will take place out front of the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. Fans will dig through snow outside Select-Your-Tickets on April 9th and 16th @ 2:30 PM looking for gift packages that include, pair's of Salmon Kings tickets; Cineplex movie vouchers; $10 Taco Time vouchers, and free DQ Blizzards. $25 Shark Club vouchers will also be up for grabs.
