Stingrays Fans - if you are making plans to attend Game 3 and Game 4 of the South Division Semi-Finals in Gwinnett, the Gladiators have set aside a special seating section and ticket price for all visiting Stingrays fans. This special seating location will be in our Premium Level Lower Bowl behind the Stingrays team bench and will be available at the discounted group rate of $13.00 if placed before noon on the day of the game(s).

KEEP THE RED WAVE GOING!!!
Attention Stingray fans, the South Carolina Stingrays are seeking everyone's help in creating the RED WAVE. We are asking that fans wear red to the games to show your support as the team embarks on its journey to the Kelly Cup. Break out your red jerseys, t-shirts and hats and anything else you can find and let's create a menacing atmosphere for any team that comes to play the Stingrays at the North Charleston Coliseum.
For those fans that don't have anything red, the Stingrays will be offering a special Kelly Cup Playoffs t-shirt at the merchandise stand during the games for only $12.00. Anyone who would like to pick up one of these shirts before the game can call Todd Merton at 744-2248 x1212 to preorder your shirt.
Second Season Sub-plots
The South Carolina Stingrays took game five from the Augusta Lynx last night to complete their comeback and move on to round 2 of the playoffs.
Stephen Werner scored two goals, one short handed and one on the power play. Werner and Marty Guerin lead the Stingrays in goals in the playoffs with 4 each.
The Stingrays will now take on the number three seed in the South, the Gwinnett Gladiators. The Rays went 4-3 against the Gladiators in the regular season.

The Rest on the Quest
Cincinnati completed the sweep of the Johnstown Chiefs last night in their best of seven series.
Fresno won their first game against Utah in their best of seven series, they now trail 2-1 to the Grizzlies.
Victoria now has won three straight against Bakersfield and leads 3-1 in their best of seven series.

Blast From the Past
The Stingrays' three overtime affairs this year are their most since 2001, when the eventual Kelly Cup Champions played four games that went to sudden death. South Carolina's 1997 Kelly Cup team also played four overtime contests, winning three against one loss.
