South Carolina Stingrays News Release
PEORIA, Ill. â South Carolina Stingrays rookie winger Kevin Spiewak made a tremendous impression last night at the Par-A-Dice ECHL All-Star Skills Competition. Spiewak, a product of the University of North Dakota participated in three events, winning all three including the fastest skater competition.
Spiewak's time of 14.166 was nearly four tenths of a second faster than the next competitor. The rookie was also a part of the winning puck control relay team and made his shot on the breakaway relay to finish off a successful night.
"I think everyone that has seen us play this season has been able to see just how fast Kevin is," commented Stingrays Head Coach Jason Fitzsimmons.
