Peoria, IL-- The Eastern Conference tallied four unanswered goals in the third period, storming back from a three-goal deficit to beat the Western Conference 7-6 in the 2004 Par-A-Dice ECHL All-Star Game on Wednesday before 7,242 at Carver Arena.

Rowe was the game's only two-goal scorer, as he collected three points in the game and earned MVP honors in front of his hometown fans.

Louisiana's Frederic Cloutier started the first period for the Western Conference. He stopped 10 of the 11 shots he faced in his 20 minutes in net.

The Eastern Conference struck first, but the Western team took a 3-1 lead into the first intermission. The second period saw each team taking turns with the tallies. The Western team led 6-3 going into the second intermission. They were not able to hold on to that lead.

In the third period, the ice tilted toward Western Conference goaltender Dan Ellis (Idaho). The Eastern team scored four goals to win 7-6. Trenton's Chris Houle turned away all ten of the Western Conference team's shots in the final frame.

In usual All-Star game fashion, the focus was on offense as neither team took any penalties. The scoring summary is included below.
