South Carolina Stingrays News Release
NORTH CHARLESTON, SC South Carolina Stingrays President Taylor Lee announced today that the Stingrays have changed the date of the teams home game against the Roanoke Express from Thursday, February 5, 2004 to Wednesday, February 4, 2003. The move will accommodate the North Charleston Coliseum's concert schedule.
"We are happy to accommodate the North Charleston Coliseum and the citizens of the Lowcountry in this manner," noted Lee. "The Coliseum staff has worked hard to book the best entertainment in the world at their facility, from time to time our flexibility is crucial to their success.
This schedule change marks the second schedule change for the upcoming season to this point. The Stingrays schedule was altered earlier due vacancy caused by the departure of the Arkansas Riverblades from the ECHL.
The Stingrays drop the puck on their eleventh season in October. The team's home opener is scheduled for Saturday, October 18th against the Greenville Grrrowl. Group tickets for opening night are currently on sale. Ticket packages for the upcoming season start as low as $45.00.
