
Stingrays Announce Roster Move

South Carolina Stingrays News Release
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays have announced that the club has released goaltender Jordan Ruby from his professional tryout agreement.
Ruby, 25, is in his second professional season. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound goaltender appeared in one game for the Stingrays, making 18 saves in a win over the Atlanta Gladiators on Jan. 8.
The netminder will return to the Macon Mayhem of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL). This season Ruby has appeared in 12 games for the Mayhem, going 8-2-2 with a goals against average of 2.05 and a save percentage at .932.
The Stingrays are back on the ice Saturday to battle Atlanta at the Infinite Energy Center at 7:05 p.m. South Carolina returns home to take on Greenville Sunday, Jan. 22 at 3:05 p.m.
