Branden Komm Returns to Steelheads

Boise, ID (1/20/17) -Steelheads Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Neil Graham announced on Friday that Branden Komm has been returned to the Steelheads from the AHL's Bakersfield Condors. Komm was released from his professional tryout agreement with the Condors on Thursday.

Komm, 25, was with the Condors since January 11th, but did not appear in a game for Bakersfield. The Williamsville, NY native has played in 18 games with Idaho this season, going 9-6-2 with a 2.59 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage.

In three professional seasons, Komm is 23-22-6 with a 2.76 goals-against average and a .912 save percentage. Komm earned the second shutout of his professional career this season on December 30th against the Rapid City Rush. He is 5-1-1 in his last seven starts.

The Steelheads kick off a five-game road trip at BOK Center on Saturday when they face the Tulsa Oilers. Puck-drop is scheduled for 6:05pm MT, with the game available on 1350 KTIK and ECHLTV.
