Forward Radel Fazleev and Defenseman Reece Willcox Assigned

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League, today announced that forward Radel Fazleev (Ruh dell fahz LAY ehv) and defenseman Reece Willcox have been assigned by the Flyers from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the American Hockey League to Reading.

Fazleev (6'1/192) (21), a first year pro who was born in Kazan, Russia, has ten points (3g-7a) and sixteen penalty minutes in thirty-four games with the Phantoms this season. A sixth round pick of the Flyers in 2014, Fazleev was a member of the silver medalist Team Russia in the 2016 World Junior Championships in Helsinki, Finland. In 168 games of major junior with the Calgary Hitmen of the Western Hockey League, Fazleev recorded 147 points (42g-105a) and 94 penalty minutes.

Willcox (6'4/211) (22), who hails from Surrey, British Columbia, has five points (2g-3a) and six penalty minutes in twenty-seven games with the Phantoms in his first season of pro. A fifth round pick of the Flyers in 2012, Willcox played four seasons at Cornell University, where he received the team's Bill Doran Sportsmanship Award in his senior season. An All-Ivy League First Team selection in 2016, Willcox registered twenty-nine points (5g-24a) and thirty-nine penalty minutes in 120 total games with the Big Red.
