Sarnia Sting News Release
We have very much missed the energy of our beloved faithful at the hive this past month. On behalf of the entire Sting organization, we want to thank you for the patience and support you have continued to show our Club as we have navigated provincial restrictions affecting spectator capacity within Progressive Auto Sales Arena.
We hope you have been able to stay up to date and follow the team through one of the many channels.
Based on the January 20th provincial announcement regarding the steps to ease public health measures. Spectators will gradually be allowed back to Ontario sport venues in a three phased approach:
Effective, January 31, 2022- PHASE ONE: maximum of 500 spectators will be permitted into Progressive Auto Sales Arena for Sarnia Sting Home Games.
-Food & beverage service will not be available during this phase.
Home games Impacted during this phase:
Although we understand not all Sting season ticket holders will be able to attend all games at the same time during this phase, we feel it is important to give fans an equal opportunity to return to live Sting action.
Games in this phase will be divided among Season ticket holders that wish to watch these contests live. Season ticket holders are asked to complete the form at the bottom of this page and select the games in this phase they wish to attend in order of most desirable (1) to least desirable (4).
Please note: Games will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Deadline to submit preferences is Sunday, January 30th at 11:59 pm. Any accounts who do not submit preferences will be assumed to have "passed" on games in Phase One and will automatically be applied credits for these games.
Effective, February 21, 2022- PHASE TWO: Progressive Auto Sales Arena permitted to operate with 50% spectator capacity.
- Food & beverage service will be available during this phase.
All season ticket holders will be permitted back to Sarnia Sting home games. Fans are permitted to remove their mask in the spectator area for the purpose of consuming food & beverage.
Effective, March 14, 2022- PHASE THREE: Progressive Auto Sales Arena to return to 100% (full) spectator capacity,
Missed Game Credits.
For every game season ticket holders missed, due to provincial gathering restrictions a credit will be applied to the season ticket holder account equal to the value of the ticket(s).
