
Sting Hold Pick #24 in the 2015 CHL Import Draft

Sarnia Sting News Release
The Sarnia Sting Hockey Club will make their first pick, 24th overall, in the 2015 CHL Import Draft on Tuesday, June 30th. The Club also holds the 84th overall pick in the draft.
The online-based 2015 CHL Import Draft is set to get underway at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 30, 2015.
In previous years, the Sting have had success with import selections, adding players such as Nail Yakupov and Nikolay Goldobin. Last year, with the first overall pick in the Draft, the Sting selected Pavel Zacha from the Czech Republic. After a strong campaign with the Sting in 2014-15, the centreman was drafted 6th overall by the New Jersey Devils this past weekend.Â
