Sarnia Sting News Release

The Sarnia Sting are pleased to announce that the Club has entered into a partnership agreement with the Sarnia Imperials.

With the new agreement in place, Sarnia Sting Season Ticket Holders will now receive a season pass in 2016 for all Sarnia Imperials games played at Norm Perry Park. Additionally, the Head Coach, Jake Cherski and the Sarnia Imperials have agreed to act as ushers for all Sarnia Sting Home Games at the SSEC.

Club President, Bill Abercrombie comments, "Last season, the Imperials did an exemplary job during their involvement in the Usher Kickback program. Because of a need for consistency, and accessibility training, the Club has decided to award the Imperials with the opportunity to take on the job full-time for the 2015-16 season. We're always looking for ways to add value for our loyal season ticket holders, and this is just another perk."

The Imperials Football Club will receive funding from the Sting to offset registration costs and equipment expenses.

Imperials 'Coach of the year,' Jake Cherski comments on the partnership, "We couldn't be happier to enter into a partnership agreement with the Sting. Our involvement with the Usher Kickback program last year was our largest source of funding, and quite honestly played a huge role in allowing us to continue participating in the Northern Football Conference. We're also excited about seeing Sting fans at Norm Perry Park next season. As a community, we should be working together like this to create exciting events for the people of Sarnia."
