Syracuse, NY--The Syracuse Chiefs, Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, are pleased to announce that they will give away Stephen Strasburg action figurines to the first 3,000 fans who purchase a ticket for the team's game against Buffalo on Friday, August 27.
The figurine depicts Strasburg mid-windup in his Chiefs white home uniform. This limited edition, hand numbered figurine stands six-and-a-half inches tall. It features such details as the Chiefs 50th season logo patch on the right sleeve.
"This is a great opportunity for our fans to get a limited edition collectible item," said Chiefs General Manager John Simone. "We hope that our fans will enjoy commemorating Strasburg's time in a Syracuse uniform."
The first 3,000 fans to purchase a ticket will receive a coupon redeemable for the figurine. Fans must bring their purchased ticket and the coupon to the game on August 27 in order to receive the figurine. No figurines will be available after this date. Chiefs season ticket holders must RSVP to the ticket office by July 16 in order to receive a figurine coupon.
